You don't have to be perfect to make a change

I've been procrastinating. I've been avoiding doing what needs to be done because some other thing wasn't in place yet.  I'm talking about getting my first podcast recorded.

I've been avoiding doing because I haven't thought my message was on point yet.  Or this website wasn't complete yet. Or I didn't have the right equipment and software yet.  But really none of that matters.  

I did record my first episode this morning.  I rambled on about the things I want to talk about on my podcast.  At first I thought I'd have this topic of documenting a journey to connect with as many people but I felt that was narrowing down things.  I also want to share my fitness and health journey, my struggles with alcohol and other vices, and coming to grips with the reality that I have some sort of depression that I can't self medicate and tackle on my own.

When I was on my no-drinking hiatus, I had a lot of support, a lot of people reached out who struggle with the same.  By sharing my story, hopefully it will inspire others to make the changes in their life they want to. The All-In Podcast will be about the above.  It will be documenting my journey for myself to get the thoughts in my head into a more manageable place.  It will be ups and downs. It will show that you don't have to be perfect to make a change. In the end, I think it will be worth it.  

Stay tuned, the podcast will launch in mid-Feb after I have a few episodes recorded, all of which are scheduled.  Now, just need to execute.  In the meantime, I think I'll be documenting the journey here more, instead of social media.  This will be the place to get a little deeper, on the topics below.
